Misery Loves Company: An Emo Fable

Once upon a time, there was a little girl in a mental institution. She felt all alone and didn't know how to express her feelings. She decided to create another self - and so, Misery Black was born. Misery is a misfit, a little ragdoll that doesn't know where she belongs. But through her adventures, she creates her identity - just like that lost little girl.

In this first story, Misery wakes up and embarks on her first journey to find friends, family. She experiences everything for the first time. She is innocent and pure, so she knows nothing but love. And, upon finding her first friend, she tries to show others love. Through Misery, maybe the little girl in the institution can find love and acceptance, too.

I'm an artist, but not a writer. However, I love my little Misery and I feel like her story deserves to be told. With Misery, I want to tell a tale that has a moral to it. No matter how different, how alone we might feel, there is always a chance to find others that believe in us.

I hope you enjoy my story as much as I did creating it. I plan to write more stories about her. Stay tuned for the further adventures of Misery Black. In the meantime, practice love and acceptance in your daily life.
