Together - 14"x18" Framed Ink and Acrylic on Watercolor Paper

Item Description

There once was a little girl made of cloth. She woke up one day, remembering nothing but her name, Misery Black. Misery sees the world through wide, innocent eyes.

Alone, we may be small, but together we can do great things!

Here is another early Misery. I had started this piece in my sketchbook. I was initially just two panels. Mal was still new and his personality was evolving. I already felt like Misery was innocence and optimism. I do love duality and opposites, so it seemed only right that Mal would become the gang's Debbie Downer. Lol! The original sketch was inspired by the political climate. I was feeling frustrated that there was so much wrong with the system and it made me feel helpless. The sketch depicted the conversation that I was having within myself and the struggle to hold onto my optimism. Give this little baby a home and you will have a piece of my artistic evolution!

Original ink and acrylic on watercolor paper, framed by moi by hand. Lol! The frame is 14"x18" painted wood, framed and ready for hanging.

Please understand that colors may vary slightly from what appears on your monitor.
